SSVC Taps: Larry Colbert ’76 passed away 5/27/26

I believe Larry was in the bake shop.  He was a captain of the Basketball team, scoring over 1,000 points in his basketball career. He was in band and a member of the Spanish Fleas.  He sang in the Chorus.  He was voted “Most Musical” by his classmates.

 

Larry along with his siblings Concetta Colbert Mitchell ’80, Vanessa Colbert ’81, Nancy “Twinkle” Colbert Watkins ’83 and Wayne Colbert ’83 attended SSVC.  His Aunt Ludelle Teal ’68 and Uncle Jonathan Teal ’70 also attended SSVC.

Larry’s sister Kim Colbert Sease ’79 passed away 8/30/24 and his brother Richard ’77 passed away 1/1/97.  His aunt Josie Teal ’68 passed away 2/15/19.
