SSVC Sick Call: Sharon Frymire Colvin ’79

Dear Scotland Family and Friends,  please keep Sharon Frymire Colvin ’79 in your thoughts and prayers as she goes through her breast cancer journey (please see Sharon’s Facebook post below).

I am sure hearing from her Scotland family will help make her recovery period just a little smoother and will help brighten her day.

Facebook post from Sharon

Well, I’m on the back side of this journey. For my FB friends who don’t know. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in early August of last year. Had 6 rounds of chemo, double mastectomy in January and reconstructive surgery in the beginning of June.

Throughout the process, Ron was by my side, giving me the strength and support I needed to get through.

I am feeling very well and thank God every day for the strength and courage he has given me.

I was blessed to have great doctors, nurses and other care givers throughout my journey.

A sincere thank you to my family and friends for their care and encouragement.

Please contact me for Sharon’s address If you would like to let Sharon know you are thinking of her.

Sharon, thank you for letting us know about your breast cancer diagnosis.  We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
