Online condolences may be sent to www.cwoodfh.com. I am sorry at this time I do not have addresses for family members. If I am able to get any I will provide to you.

Thank you Franny Miller Slaughter ’52 and Peggy Moore Stout ’54 for sharing this information.

While at Scotland “Tiny” was a member of Courier Staff, Chorus, Commercial, Student Council, Church Choir, Tailoring, Dressmaking, and Hockey.

Peggy also shared a wonderful memory – I hope it brings a smile to your face like it did mine – What I really remember is that her mother was always bringing her food when she came to visit from Philadelphia. Tiny used the entrance to the circular fire escape as her refrigerator in cool weather. I used to sneak a loaf of bread from the Bread Room and Tiny would share her food and make me a sandwich. I know they probably did not use those circular fire escapes when you were there but you pushed open this door to a small landing — from there you hopped into the fire escape and it went round and round like a sliding board. The first one down had to hold their feet straight out to push the door open == that was usually one of the officers. That small landing is where we used to put food.
