Good evening Scotland Family & Friends, I am sorry to have to let you know that we lost another Scotland Brother. Tom Slee ’54 passed away Wednesday, March 16. Tom had been in Manor Care for nearly a year. He had a heart attack less than two weeks ago and was in the hospital. Tom’s stepson Kevin said Tom will be cremated, and he was going to arrange for a Memorial Service at Tom’s church in Orrstown but at this time plans are not finalized. I am sorry, but I could not find his obituary.
Kevin and LuAnn (Kevin’s wife) have been wonderful to Tom since Mary’s death. It was Mary’s dying wish that Kevin watch over Tom and Tom could not have asked for a more loving and caring son.

Tom went to Scotland in 1948 from Reynoldsville. Tom was in Agriculture and Rifle Club. He was “A future farmer who had little time for other activitie ” and “Will be remembered as a tractor jockey and an early riser.” Tom was a nice, thoughtful man – one morning at 8 a.m. Jimmy Lowe’s doorbell rang. It was Tom just stopping by to see how Jimmy was doing.
