SSVC Taps: Christian Bruce ’80 passed away 5/7/2026

Dear Scotland Family & Friends,

It is with sadness that I share the news that Christian Bruce ’80 passed away May 7, 2026. As soon as I receive all the details I will share with you. I believe Christian was living in the Virgin Islands.

Christian was in the Band serving as the vice president his senior year. He was also a member of the Student Council his senior year. He was in the school play his junior year. He played Football in ninth grade. He was the Cross-Country Manager his junior year and the Track Manager in 10^th, 11^th, and 12^th grade. Christian is remembered by his classmates as irreplaceable, assists readily, adventures boldly, takes all patiently and not a half-stepper.

Along with Christian his brothers Gerald ’74 & Alan ’77 and sisters Geralyn ’74, Imelda ’76 & Beverly ’82 attended SSVC. Please keep all of them along with Christian’s wife Donna in your thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. I am working to get addresses for all of them.
