Dear Scotland Family & Friends,
It is with sadness that I share the news that Christian Bruce ’80 passed away May 7, 2026. As soon as I receive all the details I will share with you. I believe Christian was living in the Virgin Islands.
Christian was in the Band serving as the vice president his senior year. He was also a member of the Student Council his senior year. He was in the school play his junior year. He played Football in ninth grade. He was the Cross-Country Manager his junior year and the Track Manager in 10th, 11th, and 12th grade. Christian is remembered by his classmates as irreplaceable, assists readily, adventures boldly, takes all patiently and not a half-stepper.
Along with Christian his brothers Gerald ’74 & Alan ’77 and sisters Geralyn ’74, Imelda ’76 & Beverly ’82 attended SSVC. Please keep all of them along with Christian’s wife Donna in your thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. I am working to get addresses for all of them.
