Dear Scotland Family & Friends, It is with sadness that I share the news that Jerry Short ’68 passed away July 22, 2026. I don’t believe there is going to be a funeral/memorial service. I will let you know if this changes. I will share his obituary if one becomes available.
Jerry was in the Automotive Shop. He was on the football, swimming and track teams. He was a first sergeant in the Cadet Corps.
Jerry along with his brother Ronald “Ron” Short ’72 attended SSVC. Ron left in October 1964. He passed away October 30, 2018.
Thank you for keeping Jerry’s wife Lourie and his entire family in your thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. If you would like to send Lourie a card/note of sympathy please contact me for her address.
