SSVC Taps: Mrs. Jane Morgan (79), elementary teacher passed away 7/14/2023

Good morning, Thank you, Mrs. Dawn Gates, teacher for sharing the sad news that Mrs. Jane Morgan (79), elementary teacher passed away 7/14/2023.   Mrs. Morgan was predeceased by her husband Mr. Ronald Morgan, electric shop teacher.  Mr. Morgan passed away January 15, 2016.
 
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Falling Spring Presbyterian Church, 221 N. Main Street, Chambersburg, PA 17201.  There will not be a public viewing.
 
Obituary
 

Jane L. Morgan, age 79, of Scotland, passed away Friday, July 14, 2023 at Green Ridge Village, Newville. She was born January 10, 1944 in Indiana, PA to the late Francis and Frances (Walsh) Nantais.
 
She was employed as an Elementary School Teacher at Scotland School for Veterans Children until her retirement. She was a member of Falling Spring Presbyterian Church, Chambersburg. Jane was a member of the social sorority Beta Sigma Phi. She traveled with her husband since they were married to the National Championship for the Academy of Model Aeronautics. She was a volunteer in various ways during the competition’s they attended all over the country.
 
She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen M. Kehr and her husband Clinton of Bradford Woods, PA and her Son, Karl E. Morgan, Scotland, PA; two grandsons, Hayden and Kaleb Kehr. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 49 years, Ronald E. Morgan, one brother, Jack Nantais
 
Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. There will be no public viewing. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Falling Spring Presbyterian Church, 221 N. Main Street, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
