SSVC Taps: Sue Noel Stambaugh ’71 passed away 5/26/26

Dear Scotland Family & Friends, it is with sadness that I share the news that Sue Noel Stambaugh ’71 passed away May 26, 2026.  I will share obituary and service information when available.

 

 

Sue was known as “Bim” to many.  She chose Business Education as her course of study.  She was on the Co-Captain of the Hockey team.  She was Co-Captain of the Majorettes and sang in the Chorus.  She was in the Art Club and on the Yearbook Staff.  She was the homecoming queen in 1971 and on the homecoming court in 1970.  She was voted “Most Popular” by her classmates.

 

Sue along with her sisters Jerry ’74 (died 11/2/1995), Jean ’74 (Died 11/3/2012) & Cindy ’76 (died 6/10/2024); brothers Joe ’76 & Bruce ’77 attended SSVC.  She was predeceased by her son Sean and daughter Marlo.
