Collie Shields (Roy C. Shields, Jr., yes, son of our Roy C. Shields!) has donated several copies of his book, “Crisis” to the Association. “Crisis” is Colllie’s debut novel and he is working on his second novel. “Crisis” is available for a $10.00 donation (and postage costs). Proceeds go to the Museum Fund. We thank Collie for his generosity and thoughtfulness to alumni of SSVC. Many of us fondly remember Collie being at Camp Legion when his father was Camp Director. If interested in procuring a copy of Collie’s book, please contact Sally Sheaffer ‘65 at 717-578-1008 or ssheaffer1@comcast.net.
Correction:
In the last issue of the newsletter, there was an item on the John McAllister Scholarship at the University of Pittsburgh. We regret the spelling of the last name. The correct spelling is McAllister.
