Winebrenner has graciously given the laundry/storage building to the SSVC Alumni Association for our museum. The building contains about 8,000 square feet of space and will be leased to the Association. We will also be accountable for utilities, maintenance and other costs associated with the building. Scotland School State Historical Marker
SCOTLAND, Pa. – An official Pennsylvania State Historical Marker was dedicated to The Scotland School for Veterans’ Children in a ceremony on July 13. Nearly 10,000 students attended the school from its 1895 establishment through the school’s closing in 2009. Alumni, veterans and officials participated in the ceremony.
